Message from the Principal
Our school is a place of faith and learning
“From the first moment that a student sets foot in a Catholic school, he or she ought to have the impression of entering a new environment, one illuminated by the light of faith, and having its own unique characteristics. The inspiration of Jesus must be translated from the ideal into the real. The Gospel spirit should be evident in a Christian way of thought and life which permeates all facets of the educational climate”.
Dear Parents, Guardians and Carers,
Welcome back to Term 3. It has been lovely to see how well the children have settled back into the routine of school.
Last week we celebrated 100 days of school for our Foundation students. It’s hard to believe that the students have already hit this milestone. We love watching them walk through the gate each morning; some are already very independent, carrying their own bags and waving their parents off happily and others still a little wary and needing a guiding hand for support. Their costumes were amazing and I would like to thank the Foundation teachers and parents for their work to ensure the children have a memorable day.
A reminder to please drop off and pick up safely at the beginning and end of each school day. When parking opposite the school, please use the pedestrian crossing and designated parking areas to ensure the safety of all children and families. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our community safe.
As the winter season continues, the correct winter uniform is expected to be worn each day. With colds and winter lurgies going around, please help us keep everyone well by ensuring your child is healthy enough to attend school.
Congratulations to our school netball team who competed at the recent Regional Competition. They performed well and we are proud of how well they played. The boys and girls basketball team also competed this week and have both progressed to the next round. We wish them all the best!
Kind regards
Jodie
