Dear Parents and Families,

We welcome you all back to school and thank you for your support during the Remote Schooling period. We look forward to returning to routine and hope that we have a smooth run into the school holidays.

I also hope this was an opportunity to touch base with your child’s teacher as we prepare to hold Parent/Teacher interviews at the end of term. We are just waiting for guidelines around whether we can hold face-to-face interviews during the last week of term. You will be notified as soon as we receive clarification.

WEDGE PERFORMANCE

Please know that the “Magic Beach” performance at the Wedge has been postponed to fourth term. Though disappointing, we are pleased that our junior students will still have the opportunity to attend later in the year. 

CHILD SAFETY

We remind all visitors to the school that they are to use the QR code scanner or complete the visitor declaration form. They are found at each entrance, together with sanitisers. We are committed to ensuring the safety of the school and wider community and request that scanners are used upon entry. 

Our understanding is that masks are to be worn indoors and outside, if 1.5m physical distancing cannot take place. We ask you to be particularly mindful when dropping children off to school in the morning and waiting for doors to open. If entering classrooms or the hall, masks are to be worn.

ENROLMENT INTERVIEWS

Enrolment interviews were held during the week via google meet for new families wishing to enrol their child at St Thomas’. Sibling families will also participate in google meets early in the new term. It was lovely to meet families and we look forward to catching up with siblings.
