Message from the Principal
Our school is a place of faith and learning
Dear Parents and Families,
WELCOME BACK
Today, we welcomed back our students from Foundation to Year Two and we thoroughly enjoyed having them back at school. It was a day of connecting with friends, sharing their experiences and settling back into routines. Once again, we thank everyone for their efforts and will continue to support our Year Three to Six students who are still learning at home.
If your child has not returned their learning pack and pencils, we ask them to do so next Monday. Your child’s teacher will inform you if there has been a change to Specialist classes next week.
PAM
We remind you to keep checking PAM for daily messages and school communications.
If you have any questions regarding PAM, please contact Admin and they will be happy to help you.
RIDE FOR CANCER
Hamish in Year 5 is taking part in the ‘Greatest Cycling Challenge’ which raises money for children with cancer. Not only is he doing something he likes - bike riding - but raising money for a good cause.
He has set a goal of $500 and to ride 50km in October. He is practising during lockdown and riding up to a 10km round trip through the forest around his home. He began raising money and in one day alone, raised $480. He has now set a new goal to $750. He’s so excited!!
If you would like to track his goals, you can at - https://greatcyclechallenge.com.au/Riders/HamishVanDrunen
OUR LADY’S BIRTHDAY
September 8th is the day the Catholic Church celebrates the birthday of Our Lady, Mother of Jesus. The Rosary is often prayed as we ask Mary to intercede on our behalf through prayer.
This week, we call upon Mary to listen to our prayers as we pray for all our families and ask God to keep them safe.
