CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF CATHOLIC EDUCATION IN SALE
Our school is a place of faith and learning
Dear Parents and Families,
We sincerely thank you for your support throughout the 2020 year. We have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work with your children continuously throughout Term Four and have appreciated your patience and efforts during the ever changing landscape of COVID 19 during the 2020 school year. Your commitment to ensure learning continued during Remote Schooling is to be praised.
I also extend a very big thank you to all staff for their hard work this year. Admin, Learning Support Officers and teachers are to be commended for their adaptability and creativity.
We especially say “Thank you and farewell to Dally Papworth; Mrs Pappy, has been part of our school community for Forty-two years, working in classrooms and the school library. She is part of our story and our history. We wish her a happy retirement.
We congratulate our Year Six children who celebrated their Graduation on Tuesday evening.
We wish each of our graduates the very best for the future, as they begin their learning journey at secondary school. We thank them for their contribution to St Thomas’ and acknowledge them as the CLASS OF 2020, in this, our 50th year of Catholic Education in the Sale Community.
We are delighted that we had the opportunity to share this celebration with families.
Please know that online registrations for January Testing days will open tomorrow.
Testing Days will take place on Thursday January 28th 2021 and Friday January 29th 2021.
We are currently working through the process of seeking two teachers to fill teaching positions in Year One and Year Four. Families in these Year levels will be advised of appointments when they are made. Staff have been allocated for these classes so that online registrations can be completed for Testing Days.
Again, we thank you for your support this year. We look forward to returning in 2021 and will communicate arrangements for the start of the 2021 year, once they are confirmed with all relevant authorities.
We congratulate Claire Leahy for being selected as one of the Top 10 in the Diocesan Christmas card competition and we wish you all a very happy, holy and safe Christmas.
May every blessing of Christmas be with your families and friends.
