Our school is a place of faith and learning
Dear Parents and Families,
Today, staff are engaging in a Religious Education professional learning day that will help them relate the messages of the gospels to everyday experiences. We are continually looking to link the teachings and life of Christ to the world as we know it and to remind children that God’s spirit is very much at work and present in our lives today. Teachers from local Catholic schools have joined us to enjoy a very productive day.
Next week, we prepare for Mother’s Day and the P&F will be holding a stall on Tuesday and Wednesday. Unfortunately, we won't be having our Mother’s Day breakfast, but each family will receive a small token from the school to celebrate the role Mother’s play in the lives of their children. We thank the P&F and Casey in the office for their efforts in organising gifts.
INSIGHT SRC SURVEY
Each year, the school community participates in the INSIGHT SRC Survey. This survey allows us to gather information about various aspects of school life in an effort to gauge what is working well and what could be done better. A number of surveys will go out on Monday and can be completed online or as a hard copy. Paper surveys are to be returned to the school and will be forwarded to a third party to be collated. We rotate the sample group each year and hope that everyone will participate. Students in Yr 5&6 and all staff are invited to participate.
ENROLMENTS
Enrolments are now being taken for Foundation classes 2022. We ask that families with siblings starting in 2022 complete enrolment forms online or contact the office. Enrolment bookings can also be made online. Please see details below. It is most important we have sibling numbers as this will allow us to determine how many spaces are available for new families.

VOLUNTEER INDUCTION
Our volunteer induction session will be held next Monday evening at 5.30pm.
Registrations can be made online. We value the support of our volunteers and look forward to them being a regular part of school life as COVID restrictions ease.
END OF DAY PICK UP
A reminder that all students finish at 3.15pm and can be collected at the Raglan St or Guthridge Parade gate. Country bus students are dismissed at 3.10pm. We ask parents to socially distance if waiting for children and to use the pick up and drop off zone appropriately to allow the smooth flow of traffic. We thank you for your support in this area.
SCHOOL CAMPS
Please know that teachers are making contact with camp providers to confirm bookings for this year. Once venues have been confirmed, details of when and where will be shared with families.
Each provider will be asked to provide a COVID Safe Management plan.
Enjoy your long weekend.
Take Care
Anita and Staff.
