Our school is a place of faith and learning
Dear Parents and Families,
We keep all families impacted by bad weather in our prayers. We thank everyone who works as a volunteer within our community, ensuring others are safe.
We were delighted to receive the following photo and acknowledge the McKenzie family who spent time on Thursday clearing debris from their home and helping out their neighbour.
I particularly thank all our students who adapted to a change of routine yesterday, with different staff and students needing to make their way home during the day. Play times were spent inside after heavy rainfall left huge masses of water in the school yard and tore the shade sails off the senior adventure playground.
REPORTS
This semester, reports will be accessed digitally via the Parent Access Module(PAM). You will have the opportunity to access a hard copy if you wish and we ask that you contact the school if you cannot access them digitally or would prefer a paper copy. Reports will be available on Friday, June 18th, 2021 via PAM.
The Reports will look slightly different to previous years. The table/graph displayed will indicate where your child is working in relation to the Victorian Curriculum standards. A key will be provided to describe your child's current achievement level. If you have any questions, we ask that you speak to your child’s teacher about the report and the judgements made in regard to your child’s learning.
Parent/Teacher Interviews will take place during the final week of school and we are currently investigating the possibility of googlemeets. You will be notified on Monday if they will go ahead online or whether phone calls will be made to parents. Unfortunately, the latest COVID restrictions do not cater for face to face interviews which we were looking forward to having with our families.
CHILD SAFETY
We remind all visitors that QR codes must be scanned upon entering the school grounds.
We have placed QR codes on fences and on posts near entry gates as well as in the admin foyer. If you do not have your phone, you are asked to complete the sign in sheet/visitor declaration form.
I would like to thank families for the way they go about the morning drop off. We appreciate your response to not gather in the quadrangle by saying “Goodbye’’ to your child/children and then moving offsite promptly to ensure numbers are manageable and families are physically distancing. Limits do apply to parents entering a classroom space and masks must be worn.
SCHOOL PHOTOS
School photos have been postponed until August. Details will go out in Term 3.
SWIMMING
All plans are in place for our swimming program to take place in Term 3. Our first lesson is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 16th, 2021. Permission slips and timetables will be shared with families via PAM before the end of term.
We wish everyone a restful and safe weekend.

There is no need to return any forms or money to school.
Unique image codes will be issued to all students on/after photo day so families can register online to view images when they become available in the webshop.
Registration is simple, just follow the 3 simple steps on your child’s personalised flyer once you receive it and remember to add the codes for all your children attending this school.
Even if you registered last year, it’s important that you do again this year using your child’s 2021 image code to link their images for the current year with your contact details.
When images are ready to view and in the webshop, all parents who have registered will be notified by SMS and email.
